Other than the handles on this pan, I love it. It is a good heavy pan and a nice size. However, the handles? Wow The black insulating part only covers part of the handle. I have to remember to grab it by my finger tips in order not to get burned. This is a habit I am not used to. Because I have to hold it by my finger tips, I do not feel like I have a solid hold of it. After extensive cooking even the black insulating portion gets quite warm. Please re-think your handle design.

With arthritis in my hands, the 2 handles makes it so easy to use and move. I like the coating on the handles too.

This is one of most-used pans in our exclusive Calphalon cookware collection. We use it often for one-pot meals, a welcomed feature reducing cleanup. It's great for sautees, stir fry, pasta-combo dishes and all- around non stick cooking uses. It cooks evenly, is light enough to handle, keeps food hot with the included glass cover, and the handles on both sides make it easy to use as a burner-to-table serving dish.
Easy hand-cleanup is a breeze, including the glass cover (My personal note: dishwasher detergents will create havoc on the finish of even a good pan) .
Above all, minimum storage space is used with the side handles. We've had the pan for 2 months now and it's definitely a household favorite.

I thought when I bought the pan that the name was pretentious but it really is an every day pan! I use it each time I cook-I have sauted, fried, stewed, braised and baked in this pan. It is easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store-if you ever put it away. I wash and dry it and put it back on the stove til next time. I can't believe I have been cooking for 40 years without this pan. I have used several different products over the years but this is the best cookware I have ever used. I have never written a review of cookware before but I recommend this to anyone who wants easy to use, classy cookware.

I got this piece when I bought a larger collection and I wasn't sure i would use it too much. When I finally got it out to cook a chicken dish I was plesantly surprised at the great job it did. The non-stick surface still browned the meat and added flavor to the dish. It was also very easy to clean up afterwards. My only wish is that the lid and pan were easier to store. Overall, it is woth the space it takes up in my cabinets.

This pan is one of the best I have bought. I own a stab, which cost a lot and I use it for steak and meats. This left me short of a non stick pan for everything else. I bought this, wanting to buy something good but inexpensive and it turned out to be a better investment than the staub pan I own. This is so non stick that I can scrub it clean and nothing happens to it. It makes PERFECT fried eggs and is deep enough for stir fries and anything that has a sauce. It's so easy to carry and it's LIGHT! It weighs nothing. The lid is also great for slow cooking things like chicken and rice recipes. I can also slide this pan with the lid into my fridge.
I purchased this pan more than 6 months ago and it's just as I bought it. No scratches, marks or wear.

For the longest time whenever I visited my aunt, she would make me breakfast in what she always referred to as her "everyday pan." I always thought this was just a nickname that she gave for it, but I was always impressed with how well everything cooked in it and how she would just take cooked things from the stove to the oven all in the same pan.
As a birthday present, my aunt bought me one of my own and it's been the best pan ever. I hardly have to use any oil or butter, I can cook basically everything all in the same pan, and things like casseroles can just be thrown right into the oven without moving to a different pan.
