We received this pan set from a relative at Christmas (to replace a cheapy set that was worn in and scratch after over 5 years) and have only had it for about 2 and a half months. I recently noticed some shallow scratches on both pans. I know there were no scratches when we got them. I hand wash with a cloth dishrag and have never used anything abrasive on them. I have used wooden utensils almost exclusively- otherwise, only nylon, as per the care instructions. They could not have been scratched during storage, as they are hung up when not in use. No one in the household other than myself dare use my beautiful new pans, so I know only wooden and nylon utensils have been used. I really want to love these- they are beautiful and cook so evenly- and nothing sticks! Clean up is a dream. But I'm appalled that we already have light scratches after less than 3 months! I'm wondering if ours was defective...

The fit and finish of these pans is top quality in every way. I've had them for about 6 months and use them on a daily basis with no sticking or wear problems. I never use metal utensils, only a heat-resistant silicon spatula and wooden spoon with these pans and never cut anything while it's cooking in them with a knife-- a sure way to kill any nonstick surface. They both hand wash in a matter of seconds for easy cleanup and continue to look brand new. Treat these pans well and you'll be richly rewarded for your efforts.

Great fry pans. Cleans easily and heats evenly. I've had mine for about 3 years now and they still look new. I'll never use anything else!
