I used to really enjoy this pan, but after eight years of use it has seen it's better days. I was expecting more for the money spent. the interior has flaked and is coming off.

While I usually prefer a hard anodized Calphalon pot or pan for my cooking, a non-stick pan for low fat omelets is ideal. I have had terrible experiences with cheap non-stick pans. I dislike the idea of eating the Teflon(r)! Furthermore, the cheap pans are usually very thin and eggs (or Egg Beaters(r)) burn in them. NOT SO with this Calphalon non-stick pan (mine is identified as model 1390). It is heavy enough to cook evenly and properly. Omelets even with melted cheese slide beautifully out of the pan onto a plate with NO problems. Cleanup is, of course, easy!
I also particularly like the textured handle. It is easy to grip. Even though it is bare metal, it remains comfortable to the touch.
All factors considered, I find this to be the perfect pan for making small omelets, other breakfast dishes and single or double burgers of any kind. My only comment would be that the bare metal handle worries me. It appears to remain cool when cooking over a single burner, but I would be concerned if I were also using an adjacent burner!

Excellent pan to make french toast in. My french toast is made with italian bread soaked in french vanilla creamer over night. I use olive oil and butter to cook it in. There is no sticking to the pan surface so I get a nice brown crispy crust that stays with the french toast not on the pan bottom. I will and do recommend this pan to everyone for all cooking needs.

I purchased the 10" omelette pan about a year ago. I love it. It is great for not only omelettes, but toasted sandwiches and pancakes. It browns hashbrowns nicely. It has turned out to be one of my most used pans
