After reviewing several lines of cookware, I chose to purchase the Contemporary set... and I couldn't be more pleased with it! The military discount was a nice bonus too!
Having used non-stick for the majority of cooking the last several years, I thought it might be challenging to use stainless again... but cooking with this set proved the opposite, thankfully... and clean up is a breeze!
Having owned the Calphalon grill pan for a few years, I knew the Contemporary stainless set could only be better! I am looking forward to serving many delicious meals cooked with my Calphalon Contemporary set on my induction cooktop! Thanks Calphalon for delivering a superior product!!!

LOVE this quality contemporary stainless set! It is beautiful and a nice weight for durability and handling. My food cooks evenly and the glass lids are very nice. Love the lifetime warranty!
It took a bit to get used to how to use it properly for easy cleaning. Once you realize you need to use olive oil, heat the pan and put your food on the counter for 15 min. prior, you're all set. Now I can easily cook eggs, etc. and have a simple clean up. The fact that they are dishwasher safe is also a real selling point for me. I've had this set for over 3 years and am very happy with it!

I bought this set because a friend of mine has used her Calphalon for many years and loves it so much. I looked at other sets and read reviews. This seemed to be a good set. I have had no issue with the pots but the pans are terrible. Everything sticks to them. I checked the Calphalon site and found some tips to prevent sticking but the tips didn't help much. One tips is to let cold foods warm on the counter for 20 to 15 minutes. That just does not fit into my lifestyle. I did start using oil as they suggest and let the pan warm to a medium heat before using it but even a grilled cheese sandwich still sticks to it. If the set wasn't so expensive I would throw it out and buy new. As it is, I guess I'll just get 2 or 3 pans somewhere. Anything but Calphalon

Absolutely hated these!
Cons:
- everything burns to these pans
-ugly rainbowing effect
-in order to remove rainbows must clean with chemicals.
-Not an easy clean up
-handles get hot
-will cause tears and curse words to flow freely

We bought this set with our wedding gift funds. We love the clear glass lids and the look of the Contemporary Stainless. Some weeks, I use the 10" pan every day.
But, we have two pieces of the Unison nonstick, and they are easier to maintain because food doesn't stick. Eggs are way easier to make on the Unison nonstick griddle.

I loved the quality of all the pieces in the set. They are heavy, can go in the oven and have clear lids that make it easy to see how things are cooking. They should last forever.

This is the best cookware I have ever used. It heats evenly,cooks quickly and cleans up beautifuly. A little barkeeper's friend and it looks brand new. Well worth every penny!!

Received this set as a wedding gift 10 months ago. I love this set. Cooks evenly and is easy to clean without having to worry about flaking or scratching teflon. Looks great too.

We have been really pleased with our set. The sizes are great, the durabilty of them is great, the washing of them is great. We love our set! My only recommendation would be to keep a nonstick around for making eggs.

Bought this set about 9 months ago and they are great! They clean up with ease no matter how much you abuse them, as long as you use hot water and soap as directed. They're nice, heavy, and heat well throughout. I love that they can be used in the oven as well. Definitely a quality product! I would highly suggested this set!

I love this set. I received it as a wedding gift, and it has been one of my favorite gifts. The quality is outstanding and the set looks beautiful on my stovetop. The stainless steel shines as if I just took it out of the box. I would refer this set to anyone!

Got these babies about 3 months ago and absolutely love them. They clean up so pretty no matter how much I abuse them. They're nice and heavy and heat well throughout. I love that I can use them in the oven as well. Thanks for the quality product!

My Husband and I got this set a few months ago, we love it. It is consistently hot throughout the pan and stays nice and hot when heat is turned off. They stay nice and shiny and are a beautiful addition to our kitchen!

I absolutely love this cookware. Great quality for the price and outperforms other cookware I have purchased. Also looks great. I am an admitted "food gadget" lover and buyer, however since buying this cookware those gadgets are now gathering dust!

I just purchased the Calphalon Contemporary Stainless 13 piece set. I've been wanting to switch to stainless since my cheaper non-stick set was starting to chip releasing the Teflon into my food (gross). I'm very glad that the salesperson recommended this set. For the price, you get everything you would need as compared to the 8 piece All-Clad set for the same price. The quality of the Calphalon set is definitely comparable to the All-Clad and is made of 18/10 stainless steel. Trust me, you will not be disapointed!
